Ethiopian icon exhibit in Clinton

(Jan 22, 2015, (Massachusetts))--"The Vibrant Art and Storied History of Ethiopian Icons" is a new exhibition at The Museum of Russian Icons, 203 Union St., Clinton, that features 60 icons and artifacts from a private European collection.

The dates of the icons and objects, which will be on view Jan. 23 through April 18, range from the 16th century to the present. Ethiopian iconography is closely related to the simplified Coptic version of Late Antique and Byzantine Christian art. Read more from Telegram & Gazette, Massachusetts »
